Spin

You, the Spin Bike and the instructor right here at Target Active Fitness. Lights down, disco lights up, music on. From 30 – 45mins this is a high energy indoor cycling class which is lots of fun. Prepare to laugh, sweat, and move on a bike like you have never done before.

Great for all members and all abilities.

Yoga

You work hard in the gym, at an exercise class, at work or more than likely, all three. The workday has been stressful and exercise has left you sore. Have you tried Yoga?

It is time to join us for some deep restorative stretching, balance, core and strength work, in one of our two weekly Yoga sessions, held at our gym in Tewkesbury.

The benefit of regular Yoga sessions are well established and time tested.

Improve your strength, balance and flexibility. Reduce back pain and arthritic symptoms, as well as manage stress, sleep better and increase your mood.

Our Yoga sessions can help you maintain better self care and improve your health.

It is definitely a good way to thank your body for the day you’ve had and prepare for tomorrow.

Body Sculpt

You need a step, a mat, dumbbells and a barbell. This weighted exercise class works to music. The body sculpt challenges each body area as the session progresses. You can take the weight up or down. The challenge comes in keeping the tempo in line with the music and the move you are completing.

Circuit training sessions at Target Active Fitness Tewkesbury

Circuit Training

In our Circuit Training sessions, you will work through 10-15 exercise stations, for a varied amount of time. Completing exercises focused on Upper and Lower Body, Core and Muscular endurance. This 30-45min session will challenge to your stamina, strength and co-ordination.

Great for all abilities as exercises are to a time limit and have a variety of options, you can work as hard as you like & rest when you need to. Make sure you pick the appropriate option for you to get the best out of your session.

Strength & Conditioning

As the title suggests. There are two elements to this session. One part works on getting you stronger at a particular weighted movement. Typically a variation of Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press and an Overhead Press. The second is a faster paced circuit variation based on the strength move of that session. Great fun and plenty of cheering each other on.

BoxFit

Book into a BoxFit class at Target Active Fitness Tewkesbury.

While we would like to turn all you budding Rocky Balboa’s into the next Philadelphia slugger, this class is a pad and mitt based fitness class. High tempo, quick changes and 30 minutes of non stop high octane action.

Tabata

You are going to move, move, move and then move some more. Tabata is HIIT. A fast paced, body weight class that ramps up your heart rate and keeps it high. Your body will be moving and moving quickly.

This 30min High Intensity Interval Class, at our Tewkesbury gym, will push your ability to use your own body weight to get the maximum workout in the minimum time.
