I got stopped yesterday with a question about a fitness tracker and how it links to a well known calorie counting app.
The question was more confused with the tracker than anything else, as they wanted to understand how the tracker monitored their calorie burn and why it seemed to upload such a small number of calories as exercise calories…
You know what I’m talking about right?
Yep… The totally bonkers notion of separating our ‘general’ calories with our ‘exercise’ calories!
It really doesn’t need to be that complicated.
But we do love to overcomplicate things in the health and fitness industry!
Which is why taking a step back and identifying the desired out come is important.

Keep it nice and simple…
Pick a calorie amount, stick to it and see what happens. There is no need to overcomplicate with exercise calories and adding them back in!
As thats a total ball ache and honestly, a massive waste of your time.
