There is no point In hiding!

Last night I ate a Pizza!

And I ate Garlic bread!

And I ate Wedges!

Saturday night I had a couple of beers.

Friday night I had 5 or 6 pints!

None of it was logged. I have no idea about what my daily intake was!

Yesterday morning I weighed 90.5kg.

This morning I weigh 91.7kg.

Now this post isn’t going to go into how I gain 1.2kg over night and what that weight gain is.

But we are going to highlight that it doesn’t matter what I log or don’t log in my food diary, those calories are still there!

And guess what! The stats don’t lie!

The overwhelming likelihood if you are not losing weight is because you are eating at a maintenance level number of calories!

Simple!

There is no point is telling Sandra in the canteen, you don’t eat very much, because your body doesn’t lie!

You don’t magically gain fat by drinking air and sucking dust! It doesn’t happen!

You gain fat from over eating!

So you have to be honest. And to only one person. And that is you!

I don’t care if your food diary tells me you’ve averaged 1200kcals per day for a week. If you still weight 100kg from one week to the next, you have either massively underestimated your food intake, forgotten to log everything, or you are kidding yourself!

So be honest, with yourself, you can’t hide the affects of the calories you are eating, and it’ll make it easier for you to achieve progress longer term!
